Get Involved!

- Thanks for your interest in volunteering with us!
Triple R Pets is 100% volunteer staffed and everything we have accomplished would not be possible without all the time donated by our volunteers! Check out the links below for more information about the opportunities we currently have, the importance of helping, and of course the paperwork. If there is a volunteer opportunity that interests you please fill out a volunteer application. If we curently have no postings feel free to fill out an application anyways, and we'll find some way for you to get involved!
- Volunteering: General Information
You must have the following shots to deploy with us: Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus. Rabies vaccination is also highly recommended. We also ask all volunteers to take the following independent study FEMA courses: IS-100, IS-200, and IS-700. The courses are free and can be found online here.

- Not all volunteer opportunties require you to travel to a disaster area. Backend coordinating from our office in Chicago is a crucial component to making sure our operations run smooth. When volunteers are needed a description of the project will be posted on our Volunteer Opportunities page. Besides disaster services, Triple R Pets runs a TNR program in Southwest Chicago. Volunteers are always needed for this project and more information can be found on the Volunteer Opportunities link above.

When volunteering for Triple R Pets it is important that you understand our policies and procedures. Please visit our Forms page and take the time to read the documents available so that you have a better understanding of how we operate. You will also need to sign the release form, which is also available on the forms page.
You can make a difference in animals lives today. Please see if you can volunteer with us today! For more information on the importance and rewards of volunteering please visit our Why Help? page.
