Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for new volunteers! Our programs continue to grow ...

If you don't already know, Triple R Pets is 100% volunteer staffed and everything we do depends on our dedicated volunteers.

Please take a look below at the different positions and opportunities that are available. Please fill out a volunteer application or e-mail us today!

Position Description Location
Trap-Neuter-Return Program Volunteer

Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program currently has the biggest need for volunteers. On average, Triple R Pets provides TNR for over 200 cats annually. With 2008 grant money and more spay/neuter clinics, we foresee that this program will continue to grow.

We are looking for volunteers to be involved in all facets of the program including trapping, transporting, recovery, and caretaker consultation and education.

All training will be provided by a Triple R Pets' experienced TNR volunteer. TNR has proved to be the only method that successfully affects the pet overpopulation problem and ultimately lowers euthanasia rates of unwanted pets. Become a part of our TNR Program today and help us make a difference in the stray cat community in 2008!

Foster Parent Triple R Pets does not have a physical shelter and depends on foster homes for all of our rescued animals. As a foster parent, you do not have to make any commitment as to how often you take animals in. Providing a foster home for a rescued animal is a great way to make a difference in an animal's life. Your home
Disaster First Responder Triple R Pets continues to provide support to animals in need during a disaster situation. Whether the disaster is man-made as in pet overpopulation or a result of nature as are fires, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes or hurricanes, our disaster-first responders are at the front line working to keep pets and their families together. The training and skills that are necessary for this position are extensive but worth the rewards. United States
